THE SUNDAY RESET
A slower way to get ready for the week ahead.
Sundays don’t need to become another day full of things to do.
Think of this as a little reset. A few things to make your space feel good, take care of yourself and make Monday feel a little easier.
No perfect routine. Take what feels good and make it yours.
01 LET SOME FRESH AIR IN
Open the windows, make the bed and put on a playlist you love.
Let some fresh air in and clear the little things that have accumulated during the week.
Nothing dramatic.
Just enough to make home feel good again.
02 GIVE YOUR HAIR A LITTLE EXTRA LOVE
Warm a small amount of virgin coconut oil between your hands and apply it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair.
Clip it up and leave it for around 30–60 minutes.
Now leave it there while you get on with the rest of your Sunday reset.
03 GET A LITTLE READY FOR THE WEEK
While the coconut oil does its thing, take a few minutes to look at what’s actually coming.
YOUR SUNDAY CHECKLIST
- □ Check your calendar
- □ Book any classes you want to take that week
- □ Choose a few outfits
- □ Make a simple grocery list
- □ Think about what you want to cook
- □ Write down the things you really need to get done
Not everything needs to be planned.
Just enough so Monday morning feels a little lighter.
04 PUT THE PHONE AWAY FOR A WHILE
Leave it in another room and give yourself a little time without automatically reaching for it.
Grab your favourite book.
Do a few slow asanas.
Stretch on the floor.
Make your favourite tea.
Write in your journal.
Cook something for tomorrow.
Listen to music.
Or simply do nothing for a little while.
There doesn’t always need to be something to tick off.
05 FRESH SHEETS
Take off the sheets from the week and make the bed with a clean set.
Fluff the pillows, tidy the room and leave everything ready for later.
It’s a small thing, but getting into fresh sheets after a long Sunday shower is hard to beat.
06 TAKE THE LONG SHOWER
Now wash out the coconut oil and take the shower you never seem to have time for during the week.
Take your time. Wash your hair, exfoliate gently if you want to and put on your favourite music.
Afterwards, while your skin is still slightly damp, apply a little virgin coconut oil to your body for extra moisture.
Then put on a clean cotton pyjama and get into those fresh sheets.
No rush.
07 CLOSE THE WEEK
Before the evening ends, grab your journal.
Write down:
Something I’m looking forward to this week:
Something I’m leaving behind from last week:
Something I want to make a little more time for:
Then close the notebook.
You don’t need to start Monday as a completely new version of yourself.
A new week can simply be another chance to move a little more, slow down when you need to and make room for the things that make you feel good.
See you on the other side of Sunday.
MOVE. BREATHE. FLOW.
